Milica Mirković

Milica Mirković is a PhD researcher at the Department of Law of the European University Institute (EUI). Her research examines the integration of artificial intelligence into human rights monitoring and its implications for the processes of production and interpretation of human rights information that underpin the operationalization of international human rights law across different national contexts.

Her academic background includes an LLM from Roma Tre University, where her thesis focused on data protection in public international law, and a Master of Advanced Studies in Transitional Justice, Human Rights, and the Rule of Law from the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights.

She has worked as a research consultant for the Geneva Human Rights Platform, where she contributed to research on digital human rights monitoring and the intersection of AI and human rights. Her professional experience also includes government policy coordination at the Secretariat-general of the Government of Montenegro, where she focused on human rights and the rule of law.
